Dimmer Switch Ceiling Fan Dimmer Switch To Ceiling Fan Light Problems?

Dimmer switch to ceiling fan light problems? - dimmer switch ceiling fan

OK, I have 2, 3-way light on my bedroom ceiling fan mounted switch. one light and one for the fan. I bought a dimmer, 3-way, 600W, and I tried to install it. the common wire (was black), the only black wire in the voltage regulator. The two remaining sons in the voltage regulators are red. I took one and a black wire connected in the box and the other for the last cable in the box (in red), so now I have a black to black (common), red to red, red and black. and the land is wrapped around the bare copper wire as shown. When you turn the power switch and the light in, but the rest of the rooms have no power, and the plugs have no power, room (a few), but I turn off the electricity and energy efficiency. I have tried to change the red and black son, but the same thing. PLEASE HELP

Check the switch, which was to be had as many terminals? 2 or 3 If 2, then there was only one pole. The reason your home is without electricity, because it bring in the power cable to the switch box and cable feed into the living room. So if you're light on energy efficiency. Be careful, because with the regulatory authority that half of the sockets in the living room is about 60 volts and electronics do not really have.
Thus, it seems that you had a 3-way, but only 2 poles Sinlge. If they in the same box, regulators ceiling fans sold half of the drive and one for the fan.

ALWAYS shut off power and it is not certain, contact a licensed electrician.

Hope this helps!

Read the first page.

First, it is necessary to everything, which initially had to reprogram.

A jumper is a small piece of wire used for a short type of cable to connect to a device.

Then take a black cable to its transition from the hot wire. You can be black, and black or black and red or red and red. Red is considered a hot wire in this situation.

Puente white on white. everything must be fed now.

Earth to earth (bare)

You need a qualified electrician, and soon. It may cost you your life when you power when you're not sure what to try to do.
